Canine Leadership and Nature Retreat
Mother’s Day Weekend



 

 

 



Forested roads, trails, lapping lakeshore, and sticks galore all provide the ideal setting for you and your 4-legged friend(s). Accommodations are located in Hessel along the bay. Dog friendly shops and businesses are all within walking distance. Spend the first evening getting acquainted and enjoy an outdoor BBQ dinner. The next day, a dog obedience instructor from Straits Pet Services will provide a dog training review, leadership skills, and provide some ideas for new dog tricks. Lunch will be picnic style. In the afternoon, take a group nature hike to a beautiful natural area. Plan on a Sunday morning nature walk before heading home.

  • Start Location- Hessel, Michigan. Mackinac County.
  • Grade- Lodging is in a lake shore resort. You provide your own transportation to local establishments and site destinations.

  • Cost- $285 -Based on double/single occupancy. $125 -without accommodations yet includes all planned activities. Trip size limited to 15 people.
