the crystal clear near shore waters and underwater rocky shoals. Steeped
with numerous trail overlooks and historical destinations, Isle Royale
provides endless opportunities for exploring. Wildlife viewing is abundant
and astounding. This haven for migratory breeding birds is also a place
where natural selection unfolds without human management.

Hear loons cry in the early
mornings and through out still nights. Grey wolves and moose tell the
story of survival and co-adaptation. Visit world recognized Peterson cabin
where over 25 years of wolf and moose research has taken place. See and
touch the largest moose skull collection in the world. Meander down the
trail and visit the historic Edison fish Hatchery and Rock Harbor lighthouse.
Enchanting and
transforming, Isle Royale and its neighboring 400 island archipelago are
global treasures waiting to be explored. Lodging is located at comfortable
Rock Harbor Lodge. Rooms have private baths and picture windows overlooking
the harbor and islands.
This all inclusive ecotour
provides transportation, fresh wholesome meals, kayaks & accessories,
maps, permits and fees, and ecologist/kayak guide.
