Day Trips

Trips are primarily offered among the Les Cheneaux Islands and Drummond Island. We are happy to lead trips to other custom destinations. Trips generally start at 10am and 1pm. Though, we can accommodate and personalize departures. Family and group rates are available. The paddling season starts when the ice is out at the end of April and continues through October.  However, paddling is available year-round.

Les Cheneaux Islands/Drummond Island

Introduction (2-3hrs) Great trip for families with youngsters trying kayaking for the first time. Easy paddling. Typically, for small childrenplan to use tandem kayaks. $75 per person/$65 per person in a group. Children under 18 are discounted $15.Start time is flexible.

Half day (4-5hrs) Beginner to advanced. Our most popular trip. $115 per person/$95 per person in a group. Snacks provided.  We stop on an island for a break and snacks. Trips start at 10am and 1pm.

Full day (6-7hrs) Beginner to advanced. $145 per person/$120 per person in a group. Wholesome lunch provided. While the day is longer, it doesn't necessarily mean we will be making up the time in miles.  It allows a day to play. Swimming and short hike to lunch spots and exploring an island. Trips start at 10am.



*PLEASE NOTE that there is an additional $20 per person for all trips outside of a 20 miles radius, i.e.Drummond Is and Lime Island.. Children under the age of 18 are discounted $15 per person.

Groups are defined as 4 or more people in a family or non-profit organization.

Full Moon & Sunset Kayak Tours (3 hours) Paddle under the setting sun and depending on the trip, in moonlit waters. Catch a sunset and moon rise. Listen to the night life in a nearshore marsh. See crayfish, bats, resting birds. Kayak gear & instruction provided. Les Cheneaux Islands $80 per person. Times may vary slighty due to sunset and moonrise times. Generally trips start between 6-7pm.   We can also offer our Sunset tours on all other evenings!  Please inquire.
